How to set Adobe to open .pdf files as default
Set Adobe to open .pdf files as Default
Written by: Darlane Tang
.pdf files are opening in another application (e.g Chrome). This solution will help you set it back to your Adobe reader/pro application.
Instructions:
- Right-click on any pdf file (it might have a different logo e.g Chrome) from file explorer and select 'Open with...'

- Click 'Choose another app'

- Select your preferred application to open up pdf documents (usually either Adobe Acrobat 2020 or Adobe Acrobat Reader). Make sure 'Always use this app to open .pdf files' is ticked. This will save your change across all documents

- Test and open any pdf document
